This Asian Cabbage Salad is absolutely addictive! Greens and shredded cabbage are tossed in a magical cabbage salad dressing that is sweet, spicy, sour, and a bit salty. Oranges, fresh veggies, and crunchy toasted almonds take this easy Asian cabbage slaw over the top! The perfect compliment to grilled meats at a summer BBQ.
Ingredients
1 tsp. Sriracha
1 tsp. Sea salt
2 tbsp. Raw honey
3 tbsp. Sesame oil
1/2 cup Rice wine vinegar
2 tbsp. Sesame seeds
1 Red bell pepper
4 cups Romaine lettuce
1/4 cup Almonds
1 can Mandarin oranges
1 Carrot
6 cups Cabbage
Method

After chopping the veggies, add the cabbage, carrots, and mandarin oranges to a bowl or storage container.

Add rice wine vinegar, sesame oil, raw honey, sea salt, sriracha together in a jar, and shake well until the honey is combined.

Pour about 1/2 to 3/4 of the dressing over the cabbage mixture, and put in the fridge until ready to serve.

Toast the sliced almonds and sesame seeds in a small frying pan over medium heat. Stir frequently until the nuts are lightly browned.

Mix the romaine and peppers with the cabbage mixture, and top with almonds and sesame seeds, right before serving.
