500 g carrots

Soak washed carrots in a big bowl of water for 20 mins (this is done to remove any germs, soil or fertilizer residue). Peel off the skin.

Wash and peel oranges and cut them in half. Put whole carrots, orange halves and ginger through the juicer chute and push through the pusher.

Collect the juice in a glass. Serve it fresh with a sprig of mint.
