    Whisk together milk, butter, honey, eggs, and vanilla in a large bowl until well combined. Add flour, yeast, and salt; whisk until mostly smooth. Cover with plastic wrap, and chill 8 hours or up to overnight.

    Pour about 1/3 cup batter for each waffle into a preheated, lightly greased (with cooking spray) Belgian-style waffle maker; cook according to manufacturer’s instructions until waffles are golden brown and crisp, 4 to 5 minutes. Keep warm in a single layer on a baking sheet in a 200°F oven up to 30 minutes. Serve with syrup and fruit.
