Guacamole Turkey Burgers

There is just the perfect balance of everything here…the meat is hearty and bold in flavor, the guacamole is fresh and creamy and bright. Put them both together and you have THE perfect bite. But in all seriousness…these mouthwatering turkey burgers are going be a repeating part of my weekly quick-and-easy meal routine for those late nights at work.

Ingredients

  • 3 tsp. olive oil

  • 3/4 tsp. garlic powder

  • 2 tsp. lime juice

  • 1 1/2 avocados

  • 1/2 tsp. salt

  • 1/2 tsp. garlic powder

  • 1/2 tsp. onion powder

  • 1/2 tsp. cumin

  • 1/2 tsp. chili powder

  • 3/4 pound ground turkey

Method

  • 01
    Mix the ground turkey together with the chili powder, cumin, onion powder, garlic powder, and salt in a medium bowl.

    Form into three patties.

    Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat with 3 teaspoons of olive oil.

    Cook the patties, making sure they brown on both sides until they are cooked through.

    Meanwhile, make your guacamole. Mash together the avocados, lime juice, garlic powder in a bowl. Season to taste with salt.

    Serve burgers with a dollop (1 blue container’s worth) of guacamole on each patty.
