We love steel-cut oats, but we don't like standing over the stove stirring them all morning. Let your Instant Pot do the work for you and you will be rewarded with creamy and pleasantly chewy oats. Works great with any type of milk! It’s a perfect breakfast recipe which is healthy and delicious!

Ingredients

  • Toasted sliced almonds, for serving

  • Blueberries, for serving

  • Sliced banana, for serving

  • 1 tsp. Pure vanilla extract

  • 2 tbsp. Maple syrup, plus more for serving

  • 1/2 tsp. Kosher salt

  • 1/2 tsp. Ground cinnamon

  • 2 c. Milk

  • 3 1/2 c. Water

  • 2 c. Steel cut oats

Method

  • 01
    Combine oats, water, milk, cinnamon, and salt in Instant pot. Press the manual setting and set the cooking time for 5 minutes on high. Let steam release naturally for 20 minutes before flipping the release valve.

    Remove lid and stir in maple syrup and vanilla. Serve topped with more maple syrup, bananas, blueberries, and almonds.
