What goes together better than margaritas and guacamole? Nothing, that’s what! This guacamole gets a zing from lots of lime juice and a real kick from a big splash of tequila. You can feel good about snacking on this guac since it’s full of vitamin C (35% DV) and good fats from California avocados, while providing 45% DV, Vitamin K and 40% DV Dietary Fiber.

Ingredients

  • Tortilla chips, for serving

  • Lime wedges, for serving

  • Flaky sea salt or Margarita salt

  • Kosher salt

  • 1 tbsp. Triple sec

  • 3 tbsp. Tequilla

  • 3 tbsp. Fresh lime juice

  • 1 Jalapeno, seeded and finely diced

  • 1/4 cup Finely chopped cilantro

  • 1/4 cup Finely diced red onion

  • 3 Ripe avocados

Method

    Scoop avocado into a bowl and coarsely mash it with a fork. Stir in onion, cilantro, jalapeno, lime juice, tequila and triple sec. Season with salt.

    Place flaky sea salt in a shallow bowl. Rim the edge of a glass serving bowl with a slice of lime and dip the top of bowl in the salt, adhering the salt to the rim.

    Spoon the guacamole into prepared bowl. Top with lime wedges and more salt. Serve with tortilla chips and more tequila.
