Who wants a mimosa?! My answer is yes, always. Mimosas are supremely simple bubbly cocktails made with sparkling wine and orange juice. A traditional mimosa is an ounce or two (depending who is pouring!) of fresh-squeezed orange juice topped with chilly Brut Champagne. Today, we're replacing those navel oranges with the brilliantly-hued juice from blood oranges. Serve these sweet slices of Mimosa Oranges at your next cocktail party. We love a good boozy fruit.
Ingredients
1 cup Prosecco
2 tsp. Brut Champagne
1/2 cup Sugar
1/4 cup Vodka
4 Large oranges, cut into rounds and halved
Method
01
In a large bowl, combine orange slices and brut champagne with prosecco and vodka. Let them soak in the fridge for at least 1 hour.
02
Drain oranges in a colander, reserving liquid for other cocktails if desired. Pat orange slices dry and dip one side in sugar just before serving.
